let’s go back

Shut off the ‘unedgy’ radio stations and go to the web.
Tune out the lame music shoved down your throat and seek out something new.
‘Steal’ from the industry that lines corporate pockets.
Stop going to over-priced shows, especially to see has-beens replay the same set they did 25 years ago.
Don’t listen to high-end compressed mp3’s in little ear buds, and NEVER pay $1 for an mp3

And we’re continually being blamed for the industry’s demise?

More people are making music, and more music of substance is getting heard. So screw the ‘industry’, because without the audience, there is no industry.  Hmmm… Music with no industry… music for the sake of music, for art. Wow, we can actually use it to reach people, to say something interesting, useful, creative, inspirational.  What a concept!

So lets go back, back to a time when music was about telling stories and sharing ideas.  And let’s go back to vinyl – listening party anyone?
